With the completed renovations, we are ready to accommodate still photo shoots as well as television productions shoots. We do hope that USA Network’s television hit Burn Notice notices us for next season.
With central air in the dining and living rooms, we can accommodate small groups for meetings, breakfasts and lunches. What better atmosphere than a historical site, nestled under the oaks, just five minutes from downtown Miami, and a quick walk to Biscayne Bay? You can be amongst the first to try us.

Catering for 10,000 French Plumbers
This was one of the more challenging catering events that we ever undertook. Imagine, three 747’s arriving in Miami every six days for a period of eight weeks, full of French plumbers and their significant others. First of all, who knew there were that many French plumbers?!?…but believe me, there are, and more. From MIA they were bussed to the Port of Miami for a six-day cruise. Upon their return they were loaded into 33 motor coaches and shuttled to Miami Seaqurium to see two water shows, listen to the music of Billy Rolle (who remembers Billy Rolle??), watch the Miami Heat dancers and enjoy Bill Hansen Catering’sfabulous buffet.
Since we were determined to have no lines, we set up ten double-sided buffet lines to serve the 1,300 or so visitors each of the 8 times. This meant that each side of the ten lines was set to serve approximately 65 guests, self-service…chicken, ribs, Caesar salads, veggies, corn…the usual casual foods. To this day, I still feel my apprehension as I looked at the mob of guests as they exited the Seaquarium en masse and flowed towards our dining area. 1,300 strong with even stronger appetites! Yes, it was nerve-wracking, but things went off so smoothly, that every guest had passed at least once through the buffet lines in less than twenty minutes…No line, no hassles….for 31 years!!
