Greetings from Bill Hansen!
We’ve been busy this summer getting ready for season….and as you all know, people are the most important ingredient for any successful business. Two new staff members have joined my team to complement the great work of Janet, Shaneil, Executive Chef Tim and our veteran culinary team.
Adam Bershad – Director of Operations
Adam attended Florida International University where he earned a degree in Hospitality Management. While at FIU, he worked part time for me and I had the privilege of being one of his professors. After FIU, Adam studied ExEd Corporate Finance at Harvard Business School and for 14 years also ran his own nationwide consulting company working with over 100 hotel, restaurant, and catering companies. Now he has rejoined my team to oversee operations and to help me grow our business and better serve, you our clients.
To quote Adam, “The early stages of my industry experience was in hands-on food service, however most of my career has been as a business person, so with Bill Hansen Catering, we are going to harness my experience and build an even more unbelievable catering organization that will serve all of South Florida”.
Adam also likes to give back to the community and is very concerned about the environment. “The hospitality industry is one of the largest consumers of resources, as such, it is a personal goal of mine to ensure that the industry can consume less,” he explains. Towards that end, Adam serves on the Hospitality Advocacy Committee of the US Green Building Council (USGBC), a newly formed committee aimed at helping the hospitality industry operate in a more environmentally sustainable fashion. He is also on the Palm Beach Chapter Board of the Alexander Muss High School in Israel, where he went during his senior year of high school.
Adriana Campos – Office Manager
Adriana is also in charge of my Human Resource Department. Her responsibilities include hiring, event staffing and payroll processing.
Prior to joining Bill Hansen Catering, Adriana Campos worked as a Catering Coordinator at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando and Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. She has been happily married to Armando who currently holds the Director of Banquets position at the Loews on Miami Beach. She is very artistically inclined and loves to work with her hands.
Most importantly, Adriana is an enthusiast for quality service, as well as guest and employee relations. Service is her passion. We are blessed to have someone of her caliber on our catering and event management team.

The Evolution of the Business Event ~ Corporate Events Are Back!!!
BEvents have in the past been considered cream… associated with excess…like a year end bonus to celebrate success. In the past, when times got tough, events were the first to go. But no more, according to Douglas Rushkoff, author and media studies professor.
He reports that currently, unlike previous downturns, this downturn will have the opposite effect on events. Most corporations are cash-heavy and need networks of creative, competent people bringing them together in new ways. Events are a mean towards success…and events bring people together in real life, in real time and in person.
So let’s party!!!
Until Next Time…
